whale watching
Whale watching is also very popular in season
(September - November). A range of charters
are available to see the Humpbacks heading south
in spring - when they come very close to the
shore and make Eden a great place for whale
watching.
Other species regularly sighted include Southern
Rights and the Orca - or killer whale - for
which Eden is well known. The Eden Killer Whale
Museum documents the history of the Eden whaling
industry and its special relationship with the
local killer whales.
